(CROSS PLAINS, Ind.) – The Indiana Department of Transportation is delaying State Road 129 work in Cross Plains by a week.
The pipe repair project was originally scheduled to begin on September 15.
That would have coincided with the National Muzzle Loader Rifle Association (NMLRA) National Championship that runs from September 13 to September 21.
The project is now scheduled to begin on Tuesday, September 23.
It will take place between East County Road 750 South and East County Road 650 South.
The road is expected to reopen in October.
During the closure, motorists should use the official detour route which follows U.S. 421 to S.R. 250.
