INDOT to close portion of S.R. 250 near Bennington

(BENNINGTON, Ind.) – The Indiana Department of Transportation will close a portion of State Road 250 in Switzerland County beginning May 5. 

The closure is due to a box culvert replacement project between Fairview Road and Shiloh Road. It's expected to be complete by mid-June.

The work will take place following the completion of a similar project on S.R. 250 between Aaron Road and Township Line Road. 

During the closure, drivers should use the official detour route, which follows S.R. 129 to S.R. 56.
