INDOT to reduce speed limit on S.R. 7/3 in Jennings County

(NORTH VERNON, Ind.) – The Indiana Department of Transportation will reduce the speed limit on State Road 7/3 between North Vernon and Vernon this week. 

The speed limit will be reduced from 40 mph to 30 mph between Smith Street and Ripley Street.

The reduction is expected to take place on Tuesday. 

“This change is intended to create consistency and improve safety between the two communities,” INDOT officials said.
