Jefferson County man receives 40 year prison sentence for child molesting

(MADISON, Ind.) – A Jefferson County man convicted of child molesting will be going to prison for decades. 

31-year-old Kevin Fox was sentenced to a 40-year sentence by a Jefferson County judge on Thursday. 

The case began when there were cyber tips received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. 

Madison Police detectives had an extensive investigation and Fox was eventually arrested in Kentucky. 

Jefferson County Prosecutor David Sutter said this case shows the devastating impact of child sex crimes. 

“This sentence reflects the gravity of Fox’s actions and our commitment to seeking justice for the victims and holding the perpetrators accountable. We are grateful for the dedicated work of the Madison Police Department, Indiana ICAC Task Force, and our law enforcement partners who made this outcome possible,” Sutter said. 

Other agencies that were involved included the Kentucky State Police, U.S. Secret Service and the Trimble County Sheriff’s Office.
