Jennings Co. 20-year-old dies in single-vehicle crash

Happened around 4 p.m. Tuesday

(COMMISKEY, Ind.) – A young man died in a car crash in Jennings County on Tuesday afternoon. 

20-year-old Tyler Wells, of Commiskey, was driving on County Road 400 South when he approached the State Road 3 intersection. 

Indiana State Police investigators say the vehicle went off the road and struck a tree. 

Wells passed away at the scene of the crash. 

The investigation remains ongoing although speed is believed to have been a factor in the crash.
