Kentucky native killed in Operation Epic Fury

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – The Pentagon has identified the seventh American soldier who has been killed during Operation Epic Fury. 

Sgt. Benjamin Pennington is a 26-year-old from Glendale, Kentucky.

He died Saturday after sustaining wounds during an Iranian attack at Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia on March 1. 

Sgt. Pennington was assigned to the 1st Space Battalion, 1st Space Brigade in Colorado.
