(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – Kids Discovery Factory brought students together from across the region for “STEAM at the Park” at Liberty Park in Batesville on Monday and Tuesday.
The two-day event gave children the opportunity to participate in science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) activities.
Students created their own tie-dyed shirts and also built racetracks, created firework salt art and created stomp rockets.
“We love seeing kids light up with excitement when they learn something new or build something that works,” said Vanessa Beetz, Program Director for Kids Discovery Factory.
She added, “STEAM at the Park gives kids the tools and freedom to experiment, problem-solve, and imagine what’s possible.”
The camp was made possible through funding from Duke Energy.
