The Aurora class needs many more cards

(AURORA, Ind.) – Some local students are needing some help from people who live far away from Southeast Indiana.

A kindergarten class at St. John Lutheran School in Aurora is hoping to receive a Valentine’s Day card from all 50 states.

The project is called Hearts Across America and the class is taught by Jennifer Johnson.

Johnson  says they’ve received cards from as far away as New York and California, but there are several states they are still hoping to receive.

The class hopes to receive all the cards by Valentine’s Day which is on February 14.
