Kiwanis chapters recognize North, South Decatur seniors

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – Three local Kiwanis chapters joined forces to recognize high schoolers for their academic achievements. 

The Greensburg, St. Paul, and Westport chapters held a dinner for the Top 10 seniors from North Decatur and South Decatur. 

The Kiwanis paid for the seniors' meals and also welcomed family members and guests of each student. 

Lanie Melton is a South Decatur senior who was among those recognized. She describe it as an honor to be part of the ceremony.

“It was nice to be recognized for all the hard work my classmates and I have put into school. I really appreciated the Kiwanis for continuously putting on this dinner,” Melton told The 812.
