Hopes to work as a prosecutor or defense attorney one day

(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – A Lawrenceburg senior is taking her talents to the college volleyball court, while also preparing for a different type of court.
Bryleigh Boyd signed her letter of intent to play volleyball at Thomas More University on Friday.
She marked the occasion by crediting her teammates and coaches from both Lawrenceburg as well as the Northern Kentucky Youth Volleyball Club for helping her become the player she is today.
Boyd is also thanking her family for the support they’ve shown over the years.
“I really want to thank my mom as she has never missed a game, took me to every travel tournament, and most importantly the money, time and effort she has put into my career,” Boyd told The 812.
Boyd has also found success in the classroom and has discovered a passion for the legal profession.
She has been accepted into an accelerated law program where she will graduate a year early.
Her family and close friends inspired her to pursue a law career after her first interest was in healthcare.
Boyd has a long-term interest in serving either as a prosecutor or defense attorney. She also hopes to use the career to make a positive difference.
“I see myself working in a small community in a law group and my other goal is to help connect with that small community to help everyone around there,” she said.
