Lawrenceburg soccer beats EC for first time in 15 years, coach earns 300th win
(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – The Lawrenceburg boys soccer team had a memorable performance this week.
They defeated East Central for the first time in 15 years.
It was a scoreless game through regular time and it went into penalty kicks.
Tiger players Mateo Rico, Mateo Nunez, Camilo Pontoni, Mason Schieder, and Brogan Mulcahey also had a penalty kick with Mulcahey hitting the clutch goal to give Lawrenceburg a 1-0 victory.
The win also marked head coach Dewayne Uhlman’s 300th win and he has led the program for the past 29 years.
The Tigers are now 3-3-2 on the season and will host Taylor at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
