Local football teams draw sectional opponents

(SOUTHEAST INDIANA) – The first round of high school football sectionals will take place on October 24.

Local teams found out who they will face during the IHSAA Pairings Show on Sunday. 

Class 5A Sectional 14

East Central vs. Franklin

Whiteland vs. Seymour (Winner plays Columbus East)

Class 3A Sectional 30:

Franklin County @ Batesville   (Winner will play Lawrenceburg)

Greensburg @ Purdue Polytechnic Downtown

Rushville @ South Dearborn 

Class 1A Sectional 40

Switzerland County vs. Salem

Crawford County vs. Clarksville

Brownstown Central vs. Tell City

Eastern (Pekin) vs. Paoli

Class 1A Sectional 47:

South Decatur vs. Eastern Greene  (Winner plays Milan) 

Greenwood Christian vs. North Decatur
