(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – You can support artisans from around the globe by visiting a local nonprofit in early December.
The Fair Trade Marketplace in Lawrenceburg showcases handmade products from artists in third-world countries
“Every purchase directly supports their ability to overcome poverty through earning a fair wage in exchange for their craft,” the nonprofit said.
Fair Trade Marketplace is open for just three days, which are 3-8 p.m. on December 4 and December 5, as well as 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 5.
It is located at 101 Speedway Drive which is at the Dearborn County Fairgrounds in Lawrenceburg.
Fair Trade Marketplace is completely run by volunteers. Click here if you are interested in volunteering or learning more about the nonprofit.
