Local softball players lead Indiana in several stats

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – Several local softball players are leading all of Indiana in stats early in the season.
Batesville’s Caitlyn Fox has hit grand slams in back-to-back games to lead the Bulldogs to a 2-0 record.
Fox has a 2.333 slugging percentage which leads all of Indiana. She is also tied for second for the most home runs in the state.
Milan’s Kynadee Bode has had a strong start to her senior season as she is making a difference both offensively and on the mound.
She has 11 RBI’s which leads all of Indiana. As a pitcher, she has 43 strikeouts and 5 wins which is the best in the state in both categories.
Bode will play college softball at the University of Illinois Chicago next year.
Her teammate, Emma Voss, has scored 13 runs which is tops in the state. She also has 9 stolen bases which is third best in Indiana.
Voss will take her softball talents to Wallace Community College in Dothan, Alabama next year.
