Locally-made film to premiere in Osgood on Thursday, Sunday

(OSGOOD, Ind.) – A local film producer will be releasing his newest movie this week.
Tristan Bennett is an independent filmmaker who has written, directed and produced several films that have featured local actors and local places.
His newest film is called “The Ugly Duckling: Birds of a Feather” and is part of a movie series that has had two previous releases.
It will premier at the Damm Theater in Osgood with two different show times on Thursday, December 11. The show times are 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
There will also be a showing at the theater at 6 p.m. on Sunday, December 14. Tickets for both days are just $7.
This one was filmed in local places including Ludlow Hill Park, Farmer’s Retreat Lutheran School, Vogt Farm in Batesville and St. John’s United Church of Christ in Batesville. Plus several other places.
It stars local actors Ethan Hopper, Jeffrey Cook, Lydia Cook, Samuel Bennett, Rob Scott, Jamie Morgan, Tristan Bennett, Isaias Ramirez, Dani Mendenhall, Nancy Kubicek, Abby Arnold and Faith Bennett.
This is the second film release Bennett has made in the past two months, as “The Ugly Duckling: Wild Goose Chase” premiered in Osgood in October.
