(MADISON, Ind.) – A unique business in Madison is considering what their future might look like.
The Playhouse Cafe provides age-appropriate play areas for children while also offering a full-service cafe.
“Parents can supervise their children while knowing that they are in a safe space created for their size and ability. We have an area dedicated for infants, where they can work on their fine and gross motor skills, without the risk of being engaged in rough play by older kids,'" the business stated.
The Playhouse Cafe has announced they are considering whether to close at the end of the year due to financial concerns.
“We’ve sacrificed a lot of our own family time because we believed so deeply in creating a safe, fun, welcoming place for families and children. But it’s becoming harder and harder to sustain financially, and the stress has started to outweigh what we are able to manage,” the business said.
They’re hoping the community can continue to support them as they also offer reservations for birthday parties and other events.
“We have not made any final decisions yet, but we wanted to be transparent with our community about where things currently stand,” they added.
