Man arrested on child solicitation charges after 10-month investigation

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – The Decatur County Sheriff’s Department arrested a man on Tuesday for allegedly committing Child Solicitation.

68-year-old Robert Ogle is accused of communicating with a female on social media that he believed to be between 14-16 years of age. 

Investigators say Ogle attempted to solicit the female to engage in some form of sexual conduct. 

The arrest followed a 10-month investigation conducted by Decatur County Detective Ally Sullivan.

Ogle was arrested without incident and booked into the Decatur County Detention Center.
