Map adventure at Mounts State Recreation Area this weekend

Adventure is for all ages

(BROOKVILLE, Ind.) – There is an event for adventurers of all ages in Brookville this weekend. 

It is organized by Orienteering Cincinnati which is a club that provides fun map adventures in the Tri-State.

On Saturday, participants will get a detailed map and try to locate a series of control points at at Mounds State Recreation Area. 

Organizers say it is suitable for all ages, and you can compete for the fastest time or just enjoy a leisurely hike. 

“There will be six different courses of varying difficulty and length - there is one suitable for every adventurer. Free map and compass instruction for beginner,” Orienteering Cincinnati said. 

 Price is $10 for Orienteering Cincinnati members, $15 for non-members for groups of 1 to 5 doing a course together. $5 for Youth.
