(MILAN, Ind.) – It’s common for kids to tell their parents that they embarrass them.
However, a group of sixth grade cheerleaders may think twice before calling their mothers that again!
“They call us embarrassing all the time so it gave us an idea to really embarrass them,” said Jaimmie Negangard.
Milan Youth Football was hosting games against teams from Reading, Ohio, on Saturday.
The sixth grade game began as normal and the cheerleaders were going through their typical chants in support of the Indians.
That’s when the cheerleaders noticed five elderly women approaching them.
It was their mother’s who were all dressed up as grandma’s!
The young cheerleaders let out a few screams and were quite surprised when they realized who those elderly women were.
“They do a lot of weird stuff and always mess with us, but they really embarrassed us today,” Milan sixth grader Grace Meister laughed.
The five moms joined their daughters in different cheers during the first quarter of the game.
Sixth grader Kaylee Wright added, “It’ll be more embarrassing now that other people are going to hear about this!”
The five moms were Jaimmie Negangard, Kayla Meister, Stacy Myers, Jacquelyn Bolling
and Mary Watson.
If you’re friends with the Milan sixth grade cheerleaders, be sure to ask them about it at school on Monday!
