(MILAN, Ind.) – A group of Milan seniors came up with a unique invention as part of a class project.
Brandon Simms, Skip Hiltenbeitel and Maison Taylor were tasked with creating a “Shark Tank” style product.
The trio created “Safelink Bracelets” which essentially serves as life alert for people of all ages.
“It’s a bracelet that consists of GPS technology that tracks you no matter where you are. With a simple press of a button you can contact emergency services,” Simms told The 812.
You can contact the nearest police station or other first responder if you are in need of help.
Simms added, “It’s like your own body guard right next you.”
The group made a commercial for the “Safelink Bracelets” which you can watch by clicking the media player above.
The commercial includes the students as well as MIlan School Resource Officer Dan Goris.
