MMH Foundation donates $10M to new hospital

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – The Margaret Mary Health Foundation is donating more than $10 million toward the new hospital.
The foundation presented the $10.6 million check on Saturday following a year-long fundraiser. through a fundraiser that began in 2024.
“This achievement is a testament to the shared vision of providing exceptional healthcare to southeastern Indiana. We are excited to see the positive impact this new hospital will have on the lives of our patients and their families,” said MMHF executive director Jonathon Maple.
The new hospital is expected to open in 2026 and will serve as a comprehensive medical care, offering a wide range of services to meet the evolving needs of the community
“This milestone reflects the unwavering commitment of our community to advancing healthcare here in southeast Indiana. We are just so thankful for the community’s trust and investment in our mission,” said MMH CEO Liz Leising.
