(FRIENDSHIP, Ind.) -- A motorcyclist avoided serious injury after a crash near Cross Plains on Thursday.
The single-vehicle accident occurred around 7:30 a.m. on County Road 800 South.
The rider told firefighters that he drove into the ditch after being forced off the road by oncoming traffic.
“Fortunately, the rider only suffered minor injuries and refused transport after being checked out,” Friendship firefighters said.
