Navy Bean Festival takes place Sept. 12, 13

(RISING SUN, Ind.) – The annual Navy Bean Festival takes place in Rising Sun this coming weekend. 

The two-day festival features tons of live music, arts & crafts, food vendors, fair rides and kids attractions will be part of the event. 

The main attraction—navy beans and cornbread—will be sold along the riverfront.

Festivities kick off on Friday, September 12 with live music from the Rising Sun Church of Christ Worship Team, and Kristine Kabbes and the Scallywags.  Performances begin at 5:00 p.m.

On Saturday, performers will include Elvis aka Mike Davis & Night in Vegas Show Band, Rachel Holt Band, and Lunchbox. 

The annual Navy Bean Fall Festival Parade takes place Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in downtown Rising Sun.
