Indiana Elite holds signing day for youth athletes

(BRIGHT, Ind.) – A youth baseball and softball program celebrated their annual Signing Day in Bright on Sunday. 

The Indiana Elite features 8U, 10U, 11U baseball teams and have just formed a new 11U fastpitch softball team.

Most players are from Dearborn County as well as the Harrison or Northern Kentucky areas

The signing day was for 45 kids who will play on the teams this fall and next spring. It was held at Game Time Sports Bar in Bright. 

"All players gathered with their families and coaches to kick off the 2027 season. Players signed their contracts, received their Fall 2026 Indiana Elite jerseys and had the opportunity to take a professional-style photo with their head coach" the program stated.

The 8U team is coached by Tom Mullins, the 10U team is coached by Matthew Rodgers, the 11U team is coached by Tyler Ripperger and the softball team is led by Kristin Nuhring. 

“As the organization grows, its goal remains to build a baseball family that is competitive, develops players and makes sure the athletes have fun along the way,” the program stated.
