New Point VFD's annual Georgia Peach sale ends Monday

(NEW POINT, Ind.) – Support a local volunteer fire department while enjoying delicious, farm-fresh peaches from Georgia. 

The New Point Volunteer Fire Department is hosting their annual Georgia Peach Fundraiser and the final day to order is Monday. 

A full box costs $45 and there is also a $30 one-layer tray option as well. 

“One of our firefighters drives to Georgia every year to pickup the pre-ordered peaches and bring them back to the consumers,” organizers said. 

The department relies solely on donations, fundraisers and volunteers to operate and the peach event is one way to support them.
