New traffic light to be activated at S.R. 46 and Huntersville Road in Batesville

Expected to be activated on Thursday

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – A new traffic signal will be activated on State Road 46 and Huntersville Road this week. 

The stoplight will replace the caution light that has been at the location for several years. 

The Indiana Department of Transportation says the new light is being installed to improve safety and mobility at the intersection. 

It is expected to be activated on Thursday and drivers are asked to use caution while adjusting to the new traffic pattern.
