(LAUREL, Ind.) – Slick road conditions have led to several accidents and slide-offs in Southeast Indiana over the past 24 hours.
Laurel firefighters responded to a two-vehicle crash around 10:30 a.m. this morning at the intersection of U.S. 52 and West Roberts Road.
The occupants of both vehicles were able to get out with the help of first responders.
They were evaluated and treated at the scene by Letts EMS and it is not believed anyone was transported to the hospital.
First responders say the accident occurred because of the conditions. They are hoping this crash reminds drivers to use caution regardless of the current advisory issued in the county.
The Laurel Fire Department and Letts EMS was assisted on scene by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department.
