(METAMORA, Ind.) – Nobody was hurt after a Franklin County school bus had a minor crash on Tuesday.
The incident happened on State Road 229 and officials say the bus did not negotiate a curve and came to a stop in a cornfield.
“We are thankful to report that all students are safe and are being transferred to another bus to continue their route,” Franklin County Schools officials said.
The school corporation contacted all the families of the students who were on the bus.
“We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding, and we are grateful for the quick response of our driver, first responders, and staff,” the school added.
