(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – North Decatur's Student Council has organized a unique celebration on Wednesday, October 1.
The students are inviting the community to the Homecoming Pep Rally at the high school.
It will include a men’s volleyball tournament, youth football spotlight and the annual Powder Puff game.
“The event will also feature a walking parade around the track highlighting all fall sports, clubs, and homecoming royalty,” said student organizer Garrett Schwering.
A North Decatur youth football game will take place on the field while the men’s volleyball tournament is ongoing.
“The event will also feature a lap at the track race for our cross country members,” Schwering added.
The cost to attend is just $5 and participants get in free. The proceeds go toward the NDHS Student Council.
The event will start at 6 p.m. and the concession stands will be open, while a food truck is there and the students will also be serving ice cream.
The order of events are as follows:
- Parade
- Men’s Volleyball/ Youth Football
- Cross Country’s lap at the track race
