(NORTH VERNON, Ind.) – North Vernon Police say they arrested a man who failed to register as a sex offender.
Investigators say they learned 36-year-old Anthony Bannister recently moved into a home on Sunnyside Drive that was less than 1,000 feet from a licensed daycare facility.
Police say that put him in violation of Indiana’s sex offender residency restrictions.
Bannister was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Jennings County Jail.
