North Vernon police, fire to hold dodgeball tournament

(NORTH VERNON, Ind.) – If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball! 

A unique fundraiser will be taking place in an effort to raise money for Jennings County Animal Control this weekend. 

The North Vernon Fire Department and the City of North Vernon will compete against each other in a dodgeball tournament. 

It will be held at the Jennings County High School Auxiliary Gym at 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 25. 

The public is welcome to attend and they will be accepting donations for as well as pet adoptions.
