OA freshman wins Archdiocese essay contest

(INDIANAPOLIS) – An Oldenburg Academy freshman is being recognized by the Archdiocese of Indianapolis.
Elsa Schneider was named the winner of the Archdiocese’s 9th grade Vocations Essay Contest.contest.
The contest is open to any student in seventh through 12th grade and one from each grade is selected as an annual winner.
She wrote about God's calling in her life and how the saints have inspired her.
Schneider is in Debbie Gregg’s English class and was recognized this week by the Archdiocese’s Director of Vocations Fr. Mike Kuecher.
