OA grad wraps up freshman swim season in California

(FRESNO, CA.) – An Oldenburg Academy graduate just completed a successful swimming season in California. 

Santiago Schutte graduated from OA in 2025 and now swims for Fresno Pacific University. 

The Sunman native recently competed in the Pacific Collegiate Swim Championships where he placed 5th in the 50 Freestyle, which made him the top-ranked freshman in that competition. 

He also competed in the 200 Yard Butterfly and the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay.
