Oldenburg home decor business hoping to find potential buyer

Offering 50 percent off all items beginning February 1

(OLDENBURG, Ind.) – A home decor business in Oldenburg is hoping to find new owners to take over the store. 

A Beautiful World is owned by Cecilia Rose and Deb Obermeyer and it opened in 2021. 

The current owners are stepping away to pursue other personal ambitions.  

“It is so bittersweet to leave this awesome community and leave a hole in this wonderful town but we can't see any other way. On one hand, it is what we both need to do personally but on the other we both have so loved what we have gained from serving you,” Rose said. 

They have announced a projected closing date of March 31, however, they hope to identify a possible owner before then. 

“We are praying for a buyer for our business if possible. If any of you hear of anyone interested please reach out to us. We would love to offer support to them in any way we can,” they said. 

They added that they will reopen starting on February 1 and will offer 50 percent off all items. 

“If there are any business owners out there dealing with similar goods we carry, now would be a great time to pick up some great inventory without buying case lots,” they said.
