(VERSAILLES, Ind.) – An Osgood man has been sentenced to prison for burglary.
Ripley County Prosecutors say 37-year-old Frank Platt broke into a garage in Osgood and stole several items.
Investigators were able to identify Platt through witness statements, video surveillance and physical evidence.
A jury found him guilty and last week he was sentenced to more than 5 years in prison, with no time suspended to probation.
Prosecutor Ric Hertel added that the Court found Platt's criminal history and history of probation violations as aggravating factors.
Hertel also credited the investigative work of the Ripley County Sheriff's Office during the case.
