Patriotic quilts on display at Batesville Library

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – Patriotic quilts are on display at the Batesville Memorial Public Library in November.

The Batesville Quiltmakers created the quilts and there are approximately 20 that are on display throughout the month.

The project was made possible by the New Alsace American Legion, the Auxiliary, Larry Hoff, Paul Moll and the Fruedenfest Committee.

The public is welcome to stop at their convenience to view the display.

Batesville Quiltmakers is a monthly quilting group that meets on the fourth Wednesday of the month from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at St. John’s United Church of Christ.

Their mission is to connect with other quilters to share ideas, learn new techniques and find inspiration.

New members are always welcome and you can get more information by calling (812) 657--0305 or (812) 212-1550.
