Patterson announces re-election bid for District 55 seat

(BROOKVILLE, Ind.) – State Representative Lindsay Patterson has announced her candidacy for a third term in the Indiana House of Representatives. 

Patterson says she remains committed to protecting local communities, defending Hoosier values, and delivering results for the citizens of District 55.

She said it has been an honor of a lifetime to serve the people of her district. 

“We’ve worked hard to protect local control, stand firmly for the unborn as a pro-life legislator, protect our children from abuse and neglect, preserve our prime farm ground, and ensure our communities remain places where families can live, work, and thrive,” she said. 

“There is still important work to do, and I am ready to continue fighting for our district," she added.

Rep. Patterson has focused on policies that prioritize fiscal responsibility, government transparency, public safety, and strengthening Indiana families. 

She says she has also consistently advocated for Indiana’s agricultural heritage to ensure prime farmland remains safeguarded for future generations.

Patterson also mentioned that she has emphasized listening to constituents and ensuring that their concerns are represented at the Statehouse. 

“District 55 deserves a representative who shows up, speaks up, and stands firm,” Patterson said. “I will continue working to ensure state government respects local communities, defends life, protects our children, and preserves the values that make our district strong.”

House District 55 includes all of Fayette, Franklin and Union counties, and portions of Decatur, Ripley and Rush counties in eastern Indiana.
