(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – A pickleball festival will be taking place in Lawrenceburg on July 25.
The Burg Big Dill Pickleball Festival is being organized by Lawrenceburg Young Life and it will be held at the Lawrenceburg Community Center.
The festival will include pickleball tournaments, beginner clinics, food and drinks, music, kids’ activities, giveaways and door prizes, fun awards, and family-friendly entertainment throughout the day.
It is designed to welcome everyone, from experienced players to beginners and families looking for a fun summer event. The tournament will feature a morning and afternoon session.
“Pickleball is one of the fastest-growing ways for people of all ages to get active and connect. This festival gives Lawrenceburg a chance to celebrate that energy in a big way while highlighting the new pickleball courts at the community center,” said Lawrenceburg Young Life Area Director National Chitty.
The festival is part of a larger effort to rally for local kids and support Lawrenceburg Young Life.
Proceeds from the event will help further local youth outreach and programming.
