(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – Authorities in Batesville are investigating after a truck was stolen off a car dealership lot.
The pickup was at Batesville Chrysler for a scheduled service when it was allegedly stolen around 11:20 p.m. Thursday.
The truck owners say the suspects were driving a black minivan and broke out the rear window of the truck during the theft.
“We just dropped it off for an oil change. This is such a huge setback for us,” the family said.
The owners added that the dealership has been incredibly cooperative and the incident has been reported to the Batesville Police Department.
