(SCIPIO, Ind.) – Two North Vernon men have been arrested after police say they found methamphetamine during a warrant search.

Jennings County deputies were attempted to locate 48-year-old Jason Byrne who had a felony warrant out of Monroe County.

Deputies went to a home in Scipio and say they developed probable cause to conduct a search of the house.

“Deputies located approximately 11 grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, syringes, controlled substances, and other materials related to narcotics,” the Jennings County Sheriff’s Department said.

51-year-old Christie Rodgers and Byrne were both arrested and taken to the Jennings County Jail.

“The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office remains committed to investigating illegal drug activity and holding those responsible accountable for their actions,” the department stated.
