Police: K-9 catches man who stole camper in Fayette County

(CONNERSVILLE, Ind.) – A man is accused of running from cops after stealing a camper in Fayette County on Thursday.
Deputies were out looking for a stolen camper yesterday morning when they located one that matched the description
They tried to talk with a person who was suspected of stealing the camper but the suspect tried to run away, police added.
It led to a three-hour police search in the area of South County Road 475 and County Road 150 West in Fayette County.
"A passerby reported seeing an individual walking along a wood line near State Road 121 in the Alpine area. Fayette County deputies responded and spotted the suspect fleeing through a field roughly three miles from the original scene,” the sheriff said.
A Fayette County deputy deployed K-9 Ice who found a scent that he started to follow.
"Approximately 350 yards into the track, K9 Ice successfully located and apprehended the suspect," police added.
Deputies arrested Anthony Blevins on charges including Possession of Stolen Property, Resisting Law Enforcement, and Interfering with a Law Enforcement Animal.
