Jennings Co. deputies make 2 meth busts after traffic stop

(NORTH VERNON, Ind.) – Three people were arrested after a traffic stop led to a search warrant in Jennings County on Saturday night.
Deputy Blake Maynard stopped a vehicle on County Road 300 North and said he became suspicious of criminal activity.
The vehicle was eventually searched and police say they recovered nearly 20 grams of methamphetamine.
45-year-old Matthew Bertram was identified as the driver and allegedly told police where he picked up the meth from.
The sheriff’s department was then granted a search warrant for a North Vernon home where deputies say they found 17 grams of meth and a handgun.
68-year-old Debra Gray and 36-year-old Amberly Adkins were both arrested at the home.
