Portion of S.R. 1 near Brookville to be closed beginning on March 10

Expected to be closed until late July

(BROOKVILLE, Ind.) – A portion of State Road 1 near Brookville will be closed for several months beginning on March 10. 

The slide correction project will take place about a half mile north of State Road 101 and the road is expected to be closed until late July.

INDOT contractor Paul Rohe will be conducting the $1.2M project and there will be detour signs. 

During the closure, motorists should use the official detour route which follows S.R. 101 to S.R. 44 to S.R. 1.
