Portion of S.R. 101 in Brookville closed until July

(BROOKVILLE, Ind.) –A portion of State Road 101 in Brookville will be closed for the next several months. 

INDOT is conducting a slide correction project just west of Bonwell Hill Road until late July. 

During the closure, drivers should use the official detour route, which follows State Road 1 to State Road 44 to S.R. 101.

It comes as a bridge deck overlay project on U.S. 52 between High Street and Sonja Avenue is set to begin April 6 and last until August. U.S. 52 will be reduced to one lane using temporary traffic signals during the project. 

The projects do impact access to some recreational areas around Brookville Lake.
