Portion of S.R. 7 in North Vernon to close June 12-14

(NORTH VERNON, Ind.) – A portion of State Road 7 will close for a bridge deck overlay project on Friday, June 12.

It will be closed over the CSX Railroad between Hayden Pike and Washington Street. 

The closure is expected to last through the weekend and officials hope to have it reopened by Monday morning. 

During the closure, motorists should use the official detour route which follows Old U.S. 50 West to U.S. 50 back to S.R. 7. Pedestrian access will be maintained over the railroad while work is in progress.

INDOT has contracted Enneking Pressure Cleaning to do the work.
