Prayers requested for Batesville priest who is hospitalized

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – Prayers are being requested for Fr. Stan Pondo of St. Louis Church in Batesville. 

Pondo suffered a cardiac episode and was rushed to a a Cincinnati hospital on Friday, a parishioner said. 

He has been joined by Fr. Jack Wright as well as Fr. Jonathan Meyer of All Saints of Dearborn County. 

“We ask that all our parishioners pray for Fr. Pondo,” the parishioner added. 

The church is also recognizing Batesville Fire & EMS, Margaret Mary Health and Christ Hospital for their work so far this evening.
