(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) - A national Sprint Car driver is now recovering after a scary crash at the Lawrenceburg Speedway on Sunday.
Justin Grant is a USAC National Sprint Car driver who was involved in a three-car crash with just 13 laps to go.
He suffered a broken left foot and had surgery on Monday. His wife, Ashley shared a photo on social media earlier tonight.

“We aren’t sure exactly how long his recovery will be, as soon as we get an idea of how manageable pain is we will have a better idea,” Ashley said.
She added that they appreciate the kind words and support following the crash.
The crash also involved drivers Mitchel Moles and Kyle Cummins who both walked away.
Grant is currently ranked second in the USAC National Sprint Car series.
The California native won the 2020 USAC Silver Crown National Championship and was the 2022 National Sprint Car Champion.
He recently claimed a $10K prize at the USAC Indiana Sprint Week opener at Indianapolis Motor Speedway's dirt track.
