Ripley County Communications receives support from the community

(VERSAILLES, Ind.) – Community members are recognizing dispatchers during National Telecommunicators Week.
Will Sunderman serves as the director for Ripley County Communications and says several organizations have expressed gratitude to those who answer the call.
Sunderman said Gold Star Chili in Versailles made the dispatchers lunch.
Sunman Area Life Squad dropped off cookies and Shelby Christian Church brought a Thank You arrangement to the dispatch center.
Public safety telecommunicators serve as a critical connection to getting help when you need it the most. Their work ensures that the appropriate first responders are dispatched to an emergency quickly and effectively, when every second counts.
