(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – A choral and vocal music camp will be held at Batesville High School in June.
It is for children in grades 3-12 and the camp will provide lessons in choral singing, good vocal technique, and appropriate performance practices.
The camp will be led by Batesville’s choir director Dan Borns.
“Being a part of a music camp is a great opportunity for students to develop their talents as musicians, as ensemble members, and as artists,” Borns said. “During that week, they will grow as performers in a fun, positive environment.”
Camp hours are Monday, June 2 through Friday, June 6, from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day.
The camp will end with a pizza party and public concert on June 6. Optional private voice lessons will also be offered for those age 12 and older.
Registration is required by May 23 and the camp fee of $95 includes a t-shirt and daily snacks.
