Ripley Co. Democrats invite public to monthly meetings

Next meeting on Wednesday

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – The Ripley County Democrats are welcoming the public to their monthly meetings. 

They meet on the second Wednesday of each month, with the next meeting from 6:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9 at the Batesville Memorial Public Library. 

The organization says they put a strong emphasis on member involvement and actionable steps.

“Meeting attendance has surged this year, with the March meeting packed to standing room only with 40+ attendees,” the group said. 

Phillip Morgan is the Chair and Victoria Martz is the Vice Chair.

“We will continue to expand the central committee so please contact us if you are interested in a leadership position,” they added. 

The group developed a four-year plan which emphasizes leadership development, volunteer recruitment, member education, candidate recruitment, and fundraising.
